Feeling the Presence of Angels and Guides

As I was watering my garden earlier today, I received guidance. This isn’t out of the ordinary, but this guidance was nudging me to come clean about something. I had the impression that by not sharing this information, I am somehow preventing more guidance from flowing. I certainly don’t want that.
I wonder, what is my hesitation? Why haven’t I talked about this or blogged about this before?
Fear of what people may think likely.
I’m over it. I speak my truth as I know it, as we all should.
Here’s the story…
About a month or two into meditating every single day, about 6 years ago, I felt something beyond my body. I felt energy within but could also feel energy in the form of a presence that was not me. It felt beautiful.
It came through as a vibration along the right side of my face. Sometimes as bubbles along my back. I came to call them angels. They could be a collective of angels, a couple of angels, my guardian angel, or spirit guides, or all the above.
I don’t see them. I feel them. And at times, I hear them. I have enough faith in their existence unseen, that I talk to them every day, and invite them to participate in my meditations and reiki healing sessions.
These beings always bring feelings of love, warmth, and support, and always have. Never do they bring fear, judgment, or feelings of darkness.
I believe the reason I discovered and began to feel them, was because I elevated my vibration enough to sense them. Angels and spirit guides have a high vibration. Our soul also has a high vibration. When we meditate, we are aligning with our soul. Therefore, we are more closely tuned into the dial that our angels are tuned into.
Many people across the world and throughout time, have noted their experiences with angels and spirit guides. Some people see them and communicate with them, like well-known teachers like Kyle Gray, Gabby Bernstein, and Lorna Byrne, to name a few.
It really depends on sensory abilities, which for me, lie more in clairsentience, which is feeling, and claircognizance, or knowing, and clairaudience, hearing.
Though I have just lately discovered them, they may likely have been talking to me in one form or another my whole life. As I look back, I can see there were times when they actually saved my life. When I was given such guidance that my entire senses were consumed by, and I followed it. Usually, in times of danger.
They do this for all of us. You have angels and spirit guides who are specifically assigned to you and are there to help you on your journey throughout life.
Most of us are told that is not a thing when we are children. Whether we grew up in a home where people denied the existence of anything unseen, or we were told God was only in church and only if we behaved, we were denied.
Here’s the truth as I know it. We all have angels and guides. They all want what is best for us. And, they want to help us.
How we reach them, is through aligning with a higher vibration. Rising out of fear, and residing in love and gratitude. Letting go of worry and leaning into faith.
Our soul is already there.
When you practice aligning with your soul self, who lives in peace, love, faith, and knows your path, (because you’ve been here before), you will find that higher vibration.
But also, wherever you are, whenever you can, speak to them in your mind or out loud. You can ask them for guidance. You can ask them for protection, love, and healing.
Communication may come to you through your dreams, through songs randomly stuck in your head, even through literal signs.
It may take getting quiet. This is why meditation is such a huge help if you want to be able to receive guidance. Ego thoughts can be so noisy, so we must practice finding our peace. Turning off and tuning out the noise, in our minds or through our phone.
Our soul self and our angels/guides have a much easier time offering us information when we aren’t immersed in media, worries, or fear.
I think the greatest gift of it all for me, was discovering that magic is real. Everything I was ever afraid to believe in, for fear of disappointment, actually exists. It’s way more fun to live life as a believer, than a non-believer.
In true love. Angels. God. A higher power. My soul. Divine timing.
And this beautiful, spontaneous, yet also feels choreographed at times, dance with the Universe.
We get to decide what is real for ourselves in this life.
And when we do, so it shall be.
